Margaret Ma Connolly is President & CEO of Informa Markets in Asia. She joined UBM Plc in 2008, which combined with Informa Plc in 2018.   Margaret oversees diverse portfolio of more than 200 brands, which include industry-leading exhibitions and marketing services across 13 countries.

In the last 16 years, she has spearheaded multiple milestones in key market sectors and successfully grown the business through organic development and strategic partnerships. She is a member of WomenExecs on Boards (WEoB). Margaret currently also serves as a non-executive director on the board of S4 Capital Plc and chair multiple equity joint ventures in 5 countries and regions.

Prior to joining the group, she held senior management positions at TNT and Global Sources and she co-founded the leading online expat community ShanghaiExpat. Margaret is also a member of Common Purpose Dao Xiang advisory board. She received an MBA degree from Oxford Brooks Business School and Corporate Director Certificate from Harvard Business school.
